That's different than mine.
It'll be another hour or so til I'm home, but I will post a few pics tonight.

Yeah, I kinda figured it was gonna be...i looked at the parts diagram for the 2012 crf and it was a bit off. Ugh.

I think what I'll do is order the adjustment screw and lever for a cr125/250. Will be like 16 bucks. If that doesn't work then I'll just use the ghetto rigged one that came on my bike and just replace the rusted bolt

Ok, I tried getting it from all angles...if you need better/more pics, just let me know.
I'll post one or two with the boot off the lever tomorrow.

Appreciate you taking the time to post the pics...

I think the one on mine is from a cr125/250

I sent some pics to a friend of mine that works at a Honda dealer so he'll. Check into it tomorrow.

Hoping it's for a cr and not crf because I just got impatient and ordered a new lever and adjuster screw hoping it's right...

No problem, hopefully they're helpful.

On the plus side...that was a relatively cheap mod. I got the master for $40 on ebay, and had to buy a new OEM lever and banjo bolt for it.

Yep...exactly why i'm going to try and just use the current setup instead of doing new.

once i get this bike "completed" and i need to do brake maintenance, then i'll most likely do a new front master cylinder/new lever/new lines - that way i know everything done. Right now the brakes are in working order so i'm just trying to use what is there for now.

the new lever and the adjustment bolt was only 15 bucks so we'll see if that works...

Lever came in today and fits great...

Unfortunately the water pump gasket didn't come in so hoping that'll be in tomorrow so I can attempt to start it for the first time!

Brakes feel fantastic!!

Little update...she's all done minus the graphics! The gasket came in Saturday so I picked it up, filled it with coolant, filled the tank, and kicked it over...she fired RIGHT up. Idles great, sounds great, and runs even better!

I rode it a little bit up to temp and let it cool then did it again and let it cool - havent really "ripped" into it but she flies...no issues so far!

I also ended up picking up two more bikes from a friend of mine - will be picking them up the weekend of the 13th/14th. Bought his 2004 Honda CRF250 and his brothers 2001 Yamaha YZ125. Stands, extra plastics, extra top ends for both, and a few other accessories - paying 2k for the pair and all the stuff. Both bikes only have maybe 30 hours on them. The yz125 has a brand new top end with about an hour on it and the crf has a new top end with just a couple hours.

Not sure which bike i'll be selling but i dont have a need for three so i'll cross that bridge later haha - gf is looking forward to learning to ride as well!

Awesome!...happy that's all squared away!

I can say, I absolutely love everything about my '00...and I was even considering sellin it after putting about $3800 into it....but it's one of the most reliable bikes I've ever owned....it doesn't matter if it's sat for a week, or 4 months...turn the fuel on, lift the choke, and one kick it's runnin, every time.

here's the thread..some of the pics are missing, due to the site crashing 4 years or so ago..

how it looks now..

Yeah, i've been a huge fan of it so far with just the two little rides i've done with it...

Total was $3,152 for the bike and all parts on it

- powdercoated frame
- powdercoated subframe
- powdercoated swingarm
- new front and rear tires
- new front and rear tubes
- new rear spokes
- new front and rear wheel bearings
- new steering bearings
- new front and rear sprocket
- new chain
- rebuilt 2001 forks with speed bleeders
- rebuilt shock
- rebuilt top and bottom end
- new exhaust
- new levers
- new air filter
- new radiators and hoses
- new fuel lines
- cleaned and rebuilt carb
- new vent hoses
- new plastics
- new front and rear brakes
- new grips
- new pegs
- of course all new fluids
- new oem and matching bolts (replaced appx a third of all the bolts)

I'm sure i'm missing a couple things...

Only have to get the graphics now but that'll be around 50 bucks (friend is doing them for cost)

Pretty close to what I spent.
What "look" are you going for with the graphics?
I was lucky to find original OEM '00 graphics online...but, I'm saving those for whenever I do decide to sell it, it'll have the correct look.
It's got OEM '01 graphics on there now..another sweet Ebay find.

I'm actually giving my friend creative freedom for the graphics...she does the moto-x graphics for one of the race shops up north and also runs her own business from home so i sent some photos to her and will just kinda let her do whatever. It'll be a surprise haha.

i remember looking at your build thread back when i started mine - was a great build!

Ahhhh, nothin wrong with surprises!...it'll be interesting to see what she comes up with!...the fact that she's already got the experience in mx graphics is a huge plus.

Thanks, it was a  lot of fun restoring it...I'm ready to do a 125 '99-'02 next. I want all three "classes".
