Never been to wellsville, actually never heard of it. Most of my trail riding is at Rocky Gap ohv area in the Alleghany Nat Forest. The only place I've ever ridden in Ohio is indoors at NEMX right by Trevor Vines place on 7. My heavy springs are eiabach, 5.6 rate, off the top of my head, and are for 265lbs, and some10wt fork oil. 96 and newer k5s( correct me if I'm wrong) went to a modern inverted fork design. I'm sure there are retrofit links here . I think you'll find any bike has the same size restrictions, they are all built to suit a5'9, 175lb rider. The 500 just has the little extra when you need it, to get us average sided riders moto ing with the 100lb backpack on. :lol:

Tim, if you live in the erie area wellsville is 2 hours away from you, I live about 30 miles NW of pittsburgh. and wellsville is 30 min from my place to were we unload are bikes, its a great place to go, stuff for novice to expert/insane riders.
