Pipe?
The Flyin Hawaiian:
Ive wondered how a pipe designed specifically for the KX500AF would work over one that is converted from a CR500. I wonder if a smaller pipe co. such as Bills etc. would be willing to build a KXAF pipe. Ofcourse someone will have to donate their bike for a while to do so.

Forget Bill's. A buddy wanted a CR pipe from them since FMF don't make a Fatty for the Cr500's anymore. I personally watched him call at least a dozen times to Bill's. He said he was calling 3-4 times a day for awhile. Noone answers, it's voicemail boxes that are unavailable. He talked to Bill himself, early on, and he is a One-man-band, but said he would make one. That was 2 months ago. I think he is busy with 4 strokes and quads or something like that.
ZETTNORCAL:
So i bought one of those Noleen pipes that have been on ebay for years. $125 "works finish" just got it yesterday and it looks great! I think I have a good collection now to modify one to fit.
This is what I have
2 stock kx500 pipes
1 CR500 pro circut
1 CR500 FMF gnarly
1 Kx500 FMF fatty
1 Kx500 Noleen
I hope with all of these I can come up with a pipe for this. Mabey Jfab would want to do one for me?

So is there a good way or a specific mod someone could lead me to. Trying to give an updated look to my 97 500 pipe with no frame mods or anything like that

If someone on here with one of the AF K5's lives somewhere near Blalock TX I know for fact that If John from Jemco had a bike to use as a jig or a pipe to copy he will make you anything you want. He does lots of custom work. Now the pipe will be bare metal but he does great work and you can paint it or get it jet coated. check it out at jemcoexhaust.com. CBX
