Bigtim:
I went to culinary school out of high school so that I could become a ski lift mechanic and later turn wrenches at a metric bike shop.... what? :?

gwcrim:
I'm a stock/bond broker.   :-o

Here is one of my favorite market indicators:

When my clients throw parties in my honor, it's time to sell.

When my clients won't even buy me a beer, it's time to BUY.

k5for-life:
im out of work at the moment but soon going to be a FATHER!!!!!!

Johnniespeed:
Today I am going to look for a job, I previously was employed as a mechanic at a  new car dealership.  Last night I was suddenly dismissed without explanation after eighteen years there. The only thing said was the company was making changes. The economy is not so good here in Michigan, but I always thought I was safe, due to skill level, work quality, productivity and seniority.
I will post again when I know what I do for a living.

bigfabber:
Lots of cool jobs here. I'm a journeyman sheetmetal worker, benchman, fabricator, whatever you want to call it. I've done the whole computerized equipment, big industrial shop deal where I worked with lots of 1/4" stainless, now I run a small shop where everything is old-school, bench lay out, maximum 16 gauge. I like old school better, it's almost relaxing.  I build a lot of ductwork, body parts for car restorations. custom range hoods, you name it, it walks in the door. Yesterday I rebuilt the exhaust canister for a 1968 Skidoo. Here's a moose I built for a contest at the local ski hill, hope the picture comes through.
