That mod of drilling the inner hub to promote oil across the fibers is a mod that's been around for quite a while. I had to do this mod to both my '02 WR250F (wicked "grabby" clutch), and to my sons' 00' KX65 (simply a bad crankcase design which would oil starve the clutch and cook). Very effective mod !
