KX Problem?

<< < (2/4) > >>

alan:
I checked with the guy that rebuilds my shocks and forks and he said it probably lost the nitrogen in the shock. What would cause that to happen?

Alan :D

Paul:
Popped the bladder.
Got some junk in the nipple.

Buttrash let it out when you weren't looking

alan:
If I popped the bladder there would be lots of oil all over it coated with red sand!  Its dry that is why I was confused, or maybe just getting to old to remember!

Thanks Paul!

Alan :D

Paul:
So did you get it serviced yet to determine the true culprit? I still think Dave had something to do with it

alan:
Ok guys now I feel like a real Dumb Ass! I took my bike into my buddy shop today that does supension work. He took one look and said, " Did you find the all the parts when your upper mounting bolt fell out of your shock" Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I guess thats why there was no oil!

The upper rear shock mount bolt fell out, the shock went up and bent the pipe and broke 2 mounts melted the cover and burned the seat cover and broke the pipe mount off the frame.

d**n a little locktite sure would have worked wonders!

Alan :(
