what premix and what ratio

stock500:
I prefer Amsoil intercepter, because it is formulated for power valves.  I have been running 32:1.  I ran the same thing in my snowmobile, and my motor was clean as a whistle after 4,000 miles, and my power valves work perfectly with no stiking ever.  I bet you could safely run leaner with a good oil but I play it safe.

Platypus:
Bel Ray MC-1 at 50:1 which is what they recommend and I have also read of several people here using that as well.  I have had my 2001 K5 for over a year now and no problems, it runs like a peach.

Albertan:
I've run Motul in the past, at 40:1, but now I'm a big fan of Yamalube 2R.  It is reasonably priced, widely available, and most importantly, works well.  I have no problems with carbon build up, and the piston and head looked very clean at the last rebuild.

I'm running maxximas K2 full sen It is an ester based oil just like H1r and as far as I can tell by looking, smelling and tasting it, it is the same stuff in a different bottle.

i can tell you, after working for bel-ray in the past, that maxximas oil is not the same as bel-ray. maybe close but not the same. they spend years getting their formulas perfect at bel-ray. i don't get any benefits from saying this but in my opinion bel-ray products are top of the line and i would use anything they make on or in my bike. I'm another fan of Yamalube 2-R. By far the cleanest burning oil I have found. Power valves/piston domes/cylinder heads look brand new every time. Always mix 32:1 in my 500 and my YZ250.
