Got the new main jet in the KX and YZ but havent ridden either of them - it snowed on us and has been pretty cold lately which is why i'm slacking.

My son goes to school in Golden, and he has been sending us pictures of the snow.  Looks like fun!
Perhaps I have a dirt bike addiction?

The snow is a good time for sure - i'm thinking this winter is going to be a good one! Last winter was terrible...almost zero snow...

I've got a snowboard pass so will be hitting it quite a bit this year.

Maybe this weekend i can swing up to get those graphics done...going to do some for the YZ125 as well so might be able to get both done at the same time.

Umberto: is your son at School of Mines?

Yes. He’s a freshman studying mechanical engineering. He loves it there.

That's awesome...congrats to him.

I originally went to school for Mechanical but got tired of math so i switched majors lol.

Was actually just in Golden the other day - glad he's loving it!

Thank you, we're very proud of him.  Golden is such a pretty little town.  With North and South Table blocking Denver, you'd never know it was that close.  It just looks like a quaint little mountain town.

On the subject of riding and Golden, where are the good places to ride near Denver?  My son and I thought about hauling the bikes up there time and riding.  Maybe when he moves in next fall.

wow - so sorry, man...havent logged in for a bit.

I love the town. its fantastic. Theres a bar i frequent over that way, too...

There really arent a ton of places super close to denver. If you're going out during the week then i'd suggest rampart range as it has appx 100 miles of trails and riding...i was just there during thanksgiving. Saw a total of two people. On weekends it gets super busy so i usually stay away from that area.

There are a few places i'll hit near the springs (appx an hour south) and I also love heading to leadville to ride. used to hit that with my cousin until he moved to Oregon this year...

Lots of options, though.

I figured there were lots of cool places to ride, seeing the terrain and all the open spaces.  Picking a good one that isn't super crowded was going to be hard without some local help.  Sounds like Springs or Leadville would be our best choices.  Thank you for the help mjowen!
