Does this look right?

I was cleaning this part and decided that I want to put an aftermarket brake clevis on but I can't figure out how to get the stock one off.

Looking up into the metal part, I can't find a way to detach any of this. I'd like to replace a couple pieces on it, however, it doesn't look to me like the diagram on the OEM sites. Any thoughts?

If you only want to replace the clevis use a 12mm wrench on hte nut, use a cresent wrench on the clevis, loosen the jam nut on the clevis and then unscrew the clevis from the shaft. It is p[ossible to remove the shaft, but i'm not sure there is such a thing as an aftermarket shaft.

Ok so I should hold/squeeze the clevis with the crescent wrench and use the 12mm on the nut closest to the clevis?

Because the nut above the 12mm nut is a 10mm.

yes, then the clevis will screw off, the 12mm nut is a jam nut, that is how you adjust pedal height, judging by where yours was the pedal probably sat higher than the foot peg rather than being level.

Once i followed your instructions I got it off right away. I wish I knew how to get the rest apart though. Anyone know? Sandblaster?
