which center power valve is better?
« on: August 03, 2013, 05:02:51 AM »
On the kx250 I see the 98-99 jugs are similar part #1851.  I have never seen the jugs or power valves in person.  On the micro fiche I see there appears to be a slight difference between the way the center power valve appears. Almost like there are channels cut in the top of butterfly valve on the 99 model and not on the 98.  We are talking part #49116.

 Which one is better?

not sure if they're interchangeable....but be patient, there's some guys on here that will know for sure...and be able to "hook a brother up".

That specific part # apears to interchange.   A friend of mine has both jugs and verified as long as you interchange the whole butterfly valve.  Neither of us have you the jug and do not know if ultimately one valve in the end is better.
