i think it should fit... the k5 pipes over the years look all very very very similiar ...

there's a good chance...but don't be surprised if you have to cut off and relocate the mounts....the only other area that could be a major concern,would be if there's enough clearance where it runs up under the tank....here's a couple pics.
You can definitely see the bends are more pronounced on the 85...even at the stinger out to the silencer.

I know the late pipes fit the 1987.   Not sure about the 85's

85-86-87 is quite the same bike with diferences in linkage and airbox... 87 to 88 is also no much technical diference between the bikes ... optical only the other bodywork and plastics...
