Lighting on a budget
Goat:
I'm running these MR16 driving lights: http://www.ebay.com/itm/330647062612?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
With these 6W bulbs: http://www.menards.com/main/lighting-fans/light-bulbs/led/mr16-bipin-6w-dim-led-12v/p-1663961-c-6341.htm
If you shop around I'm sure you can find some cheaper lights with LED's already installed. Also if you don't mind waiting you can order the LED bulbs off ebay for less than $10 a piece. I'm impatient so I just went to Menards.
They are bright at idle. If idle is set too low they do flicker. I'm also running a standard 5W tail light. That is brighter now that I'm not running power hungry halogens in the headlights. I may even install a brake light switch so my gf doesn't run into me when I slow down.
Should have no problems running all your lights off the 35w. That's the beauty of running LED's. Shouldn't need a battery either.
The Flyin Hawaiian:
Those performance LEDs are the same ones my friend is using on his 250. Also available at Home Depot.

he will need a battery to get through DMV... have to be able to run the lights without the bike running. (supposed to be able to for 20min) but they dont time it.. just a "okay show me the lights, etc working"
as far as Vin Code..
If you have a 3 or a C.. it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a plate.
If you dont have a 3 or a C... it is only Nearly Impossible to get a plate.
iamsofaking:
My 8th digit is a "C". Why does that make a difference? What does it mean?
martinfan30:
It signifies "competition". Mine is a 2000, and it's eight digit is a zero. Idk why they'd be different.
Hey goat, do you have any pics of your light setup?
