Lighting on a budget

They draw way less power and are bright. I have 2) 6w 3 LED lights on my KDX Quad which has a 35w light coil and they are excellent. I can see from ditch to ditch and about 100-150 yards in front of me. It's perfect for 65ish mph.
Not sure on the vin digits but I'm sure someone on here would know.

Do you have a source or a link to the LED headlight? Very curious about that.
Theoretically, I could run an LED headlight and all the other lights(LED's) on just a 35w coil?
Thanks for all the input fellas. :-D
Motorrad:
Have the moose coil in mine.. It won't run the 35w headlight till it gets up in revs.. Discharges batt anytime your not going faster than too fast

I assume yours is a standard bulb and not LED? If its just a couple 6w LED's for headlight, maybe the BD LED taillamp(what are they, maybe 5w?) It would work?
Especially if I have an on/off switch for the headlamp LED's, and turn it off during braking and/or turn sig operation(assuming I use LED turns as well).
The Flyin Hawaiian:
On my friends 03 KX250 he used a 6w LED MR16 bulb thats supposed to be equivalent to a 35w bulb. This is powered by the powerjet coil. Which puts out around 25w. Even at idle it stays bright. At this time he only has 1 LED bulb hooked up, he's using a Acerbis DHH, dual beam headlight assy. I see no problem running both bulbs as long as they are the LEDs. My plan is to run 2 of the 6w LEDs in my Acerbis light. Ill probably do it closer to spring/summer time. Too cold to do any night riding now!

Same here on night riding... Just want to have something that passes our DMV.
Soon it will be stand up jetski time! SUPERJETS and 550's!!!
If anyone has never ridden one, TRY IT. you will be hooked.
