Ok so I rub oil with my fingers everywhere when I finally finish the engine. Then I fill it up with the oil.

only coat the cyl, piston , rod bearings, crank bearings. then put in the tranny oil

Ok thanks. Will do but for now im working on the stripped screws holding the engine together.

Sure the rings are lined up with the locating pins? and you put it all together straight...

Sounds like ring hooking a port to me...
