KX60 HELP! In need of rebuild!
Friar-Tuck:
Thanks,
It takes a bit longer by hand. I was trying to take out some of the dings in the head without compramising the sealing surface. Here's the before pic.
This was purchased off ebay previously by the owner as the head and cyl that came with the bike was...unable to perform any further service...or blown up...

thats awesomeee! Cant believe tuck devoted his time to help me.
chris-mets:
and Tuck Im curious of how you made the head so smooth and shiny? what did you use? and i gotta fool around witht the petcock on the gas tank. Its been sitting so long with no petrol in it so maybe tomorrow i will get a bowl and put carb cleaner and gas in the bowl and throw it in lol
chris-mets:
hey guys...I was wondering but how am I gonna keep this from happening all over again or slowly happen again? I know I have to shift properly but any other advice? ive put so much money into this bike that I wont ever sell it so im probly gonna get some money to buy a uni air filter and new grips. Any advice? thanks.
1989kawasaki:
run 32:1 oil mix , and keep the air filter clean. and you might want to have your carb rejetted before you ride it for the first time
