i just emailed service honda for a price on the kx500af pipe posted to the U.K and this is the reply i got

HELLO THE PIPE IS 229.00 THE SILENCER IS 119.00 AND SHIPPING IS JUST AT A GUESS COULD BE 250.00 .COULD BE MORE MAYBE LESS :-o

can any one help that shipping price is crazy and would rule it out. i am building a 99-02 250/500 sf and need some ideas on a pipe i need it to look good. my welding/fabrication skills are limited. i do have a fmf gold series for the standard bike, any help would be greatly recieved

it works out to $600 or around ?400. i may be able to have somthing custom made for that sort of money

is the fit and finish  going to be the same, plus the down time for a pipe to be made.

. i know what you are saying they are a lovely looking pipe. has any one fitted 1 to a 02 250/500sf do you know. there would be some modification i know. its not the price of the pipe thats ok its the shipping that bothers me. i can get cr500 pipes over here what mods do they need
