hello there! im pretty new to this site and kx 500's too. although im not new to too smokes! i am 27 and from newcastle, north east of england. i recently bought a 92 500 from a friend in bits with the intention of road registering it, until i saw a 90 on ebay already done. i think it has a dave thorpe engine in it (or bits from an sr). i have also recently bought an 88 (2 valve) in bits and most of an 89 bike. the 92 engine has been completely rebuilt by myself and i intend on putting it in the road legal bike to run it in and then keep as a spare. since i joined this site in november, the knowledge i have gained and the info available is second to none! i really do appreciate it. THANKS EVERY1!

  Sounds like you jumped right in on the KX5 wagon with three in a short, period of time.
     There is alot to check out here and for the most part it's a pretty good bunch. 
 Please jump in wherever you have had any expierence.

Why not take it up here to Orkney and race it in our beach race in september thats what i doing with mine this year  :-D
