Well Guys, I have to thank everyone again. This site is really something special. I went from making the fast guys sweat, all the way across the spectrum to being the fast guy thats sweating. This last weekend I won all three classes on Saturday, a hillclimbing "Hat-trick." I wanted to get some good footage, but our digital camera would not accept a tape. We did score a GO PRO helmet Cam and got some of our runs on it. The camera has just two buttons, but still was confusing us. We are getting the hang of it, though. Very nice perspective from the riders point of view, but you cannot tell how steep the hills are or how rough the hills are. When air-born, its also hard to tell. We are going to try a mix of helmet cam with a regular digital video cam and see if that helps make it a little more realistic. Tell me what you think!!!!

My helmet cam just doesn't do justice. I'll get home after riding in the Nevada desert with two or three flat spots on my rim from riding over some extreme terrain at high speed (4th & 5th). I'll get home and play the video and it looks like I was riding on a well groomed track at 20mph. For some reason the camera just does not give any true perspective of height or steepness either.

Great vids and I know that hill was way steeper than the camera reveals!

congrats on the race. u rock 8-). one of the big things i learned with my gopro,is sometimes when i go to turn it off,it would change the cameras setting from video recorder to camera, thus not taking movies. when turning it off, hold the botton for like 2seconds then let go. if u hold it to long it will not turn off. if not long enought it will just change the settings.

Here's the Cycle News Article on the Triple win at Neoga.... 8-) http://www.cyclenews.com/regional_events/read/hillclimb/2009/06/06/090606-Central-Illinois-Motorcycle-Club-Night-Hillclimb

Also, just had a good day at Polo, Illinois hillclimb, where the Stock Length Bikes both carded wins and the ol' 200 carded a third.  I lost to two Super Fast, Fully Modded KTM 200's, with some very fast riders on them. Just hangin' close to them is a small victory for the '86. I told one of them that the KTM's were really hard to beat, and he reassured me that he would only use half-throttle this time. I am sure though, he had it Tapped.  I guess its time to add some gearing. I am still working on that vid for Polo. So far I only have Second Round Highlights Posted on youtube. I'll post a link when finished. This hill is very close to Vertical, and is all you want to muster, if you plan on climbing the Hill on hands and feet. Unfortunately the video again makes it look easy.

Thank you guys very much again for the wealth of Tuner Info, I'm having a Blast this Season!!!!!!
State Championships are this weekend, Wish me Luck...
