I am employed again after only six days without a job. In Michigan getting a job is a miracle. I am very grateful to find the same job at the same pay and only having to drive five minutes more to work. The atmosphere is greatly improved at the new job.
I did not enjoy the six days off, as I was quite concerned about losing my house,my hobbies and the prospect of having to sell my toys.
I am still a master mechanic for a new car dealer working on Japanese vehicles.

GDubb:
Awesome news Johnnie!  I have been out of work since mid October... just took the tests and applied at the Naval Shipyard up here for their apprenticeship program. I scored really high on the tests, well above the minimum requirements and was even told that it was some of the highest scores they'd seen. So hopefully this works out but there are thousands of people trying to get jobs there right now. Hopefully my test scores and resume stand out. Say a prayer for me guys... I really need this job.

Your scores and resume are important, and I think a positive attitude helps too. Check the owners manual jeremiah 29-11 for the master plan.
I too really needed this job as I have grown accustomed to living indoors and eating. I need to build a better financial safety net for bad times.
