My son raced his first race in the 125B class. Got a bad holeshot and was nearly last on a short supercross track. 11 riders in his class. didn't make a full lap and he was up to fourth then came up short on a 40' double and crashed. Landed on his elbow and has a compound fracture of the humerous (upper arm bone). He's out for 3 months. He said he thinks he panicked on the face of the jump and let off. Pics in my gallery.

Now that he's had a little time to get over the broken arm part, I think his pride is whats broken the most.

5D,
There's something about kids getting hurt that really gets to me.
My daughter fell off the monkeybars the second day of first grade and broke the radius and ulna an inch or so above her wrist.
in the E.R. a nurse got quite irratated with me 'cause "I was glad she had only broken her arm."
"How could you say such a thing!" she replied.
She could have landed on her head and broke her neck, I said.. the nurse never said another word.
Hope Nick heals up quickly with no complications.

I'll put a good word in for you guys with the man upstairs.
 Take Care,
Tuck \o/

Friar,

Thanks for the words with the man upstairs. I've talked with him alot lately too. Nick said it the best in the ER when the nurse asked him if he was going to ride anymore, he said I've been doing this for 8 years and this is my first trip here!!
