when i am sitting in the smallest room in my house i like to do some reading...i have yet to find a decent book about 2 stroke building. i have seen that a lot of you like eric gorr's book, but the one i looked at is a good book for someone just getting startde. does he have any other books, what books are out there that are more technical?

There's always the "2-Stroke Tuners Handbook" by Jeff Jennings.  Lots of good background engine theory on how to tune.  The formulas work quite well.  My current favorite is the "Scientific desing of intake and exhaust systems".  It is all 4-stroke stuff but the philosophy and formulas are fascinating.
