I clear the Olds double with 10psi in the paddle. I've never bent rim at Glamis.

Awesome sounds like Ill be riding 10 psi Hopefully Ill get a bit more hook up with 5 pounds less air

I actually run 15-20 psi.  You're not getting much flotation out of that skinny tire regardless.  The higher pressures keep the paddles more rigid and therefore digging and moving sand.  Just my $.02.

I run a Ching Shin 560 X 18 10 paddle tire and it is so stiff you could run it flat with dual rim locks and you would never no the differance! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Man, I need to get out west to do some dune riding. I paddle ride in the hard dirt/sand mixture. It's no fun, nothing like the dune sands.
