KXF Wheels On a KX

Hi just purchased a near new set on Talon Excel wheels to fit a 2006 to 2018 KXF with the intension of fitting to a KX 250 1990, I am guessing with some new bearings to suit smaller axel and custom spacers they will fit with the exception of the rear due to the larger rear disc found on the KXF, I think I would be right in saying the 1990 has a 220mm rear disc and the KXF has 240mm so need either an oversized calliper relocation bracket which I do not think is made?? or a smaller rear disc??

Does anybody know if any other discs have the same stud pattern as the KXF, may be a KX 85 front disc etc? Or may have to get a KXF fit disc machined down 10mm, thanks in advance

Just modify or make your own caliper adapter. It isn't as hard as you think.

Thanks that looks like a plan, I do not weld so will pass that job on! are you doing cooling fins on your hybrid like the ones on Sean Colliers KX 500? I could get some of them done at the same time if they are a worth while add on?
