What's up
netranger6:
so no need to be 32:1 as per the manual? I mean s**t, that's pretty safe. Not made of money, so would hate to fubar the mix up and have negative effects.
sandblaster:
Older oils had to be run at 32:1.
But modern oils Don't.
Ask these guys..
This guy is running Motul 50:1 and not many people wind the springs out of their bike like he does...
netranger6:
Alright cool. Back to fuel. If all I have immediately available to me in South Texas is pump with 10 percent ethanol, is there anything special u should do. Treat it? Or mix it run. No worries?
sandblaster:
Hopefully guys in your area will chime in as I have never ran your fuel.
In Oregon and California a lot of guys are running a blend of pump gas and race gas.
The ratios I have heard of are 50/50 race to pump gas and lower... Some are running 1 gal of race gas to 4 gal of pump gas.
So unless someone has experience in your area start out 50/50 and see what happens.
You can lower the race gas percentage until you find the happy spot...
Don't forget to do your throttle chops to insure that your not running lean on top...

I'm in Cali I run 50\50 pump 91 octane and VP C12. You will have to mess with jetting (runs richer) but worth it two strokes love lead
