yes it has the preload like the 250f , for get about the skf glide kit it only a smidge better than stock , allready tried and tested it , better off spending extra and get the spring kit , skf fork seals offer less stiction than stock seals , anything that reduces stiction is a step in the right direction.

Thanks KXDINO, think i keep my SFF spring forks. Save me money and time on converting. And let them revalved if needed.
Do you use the preload adjusment or is more set and forget.

a little preload , it more important to get the right spring for your weight , the good thing is the conversion uses the same spring as the 250f so should be plenty around to suit your needs.
