Showa SFF vs SFF air forks
Dutch-K5 Fan:
I just bought a set of SFF forks with tripple clamps of a 15 kx250f.
Will to use it on my kx500af with 07 kx250f frame.
I haven't run it yet. Now i maybe can swap it for a set of SFF air forks out of a 15 or 16 kx450f.
I like the idea of air forks, the adjustments that can be made. Only that's the problem of it to. Many don't like them.
Is that because there bad or misunderstood???

I think you'll find it's "personal preference" Dutchie...
a little over a year ago, there was all kinds of controversy in the AMA pits, cause a lot of the top guys wanted nothing to do with them, and were going back to the spring/oil forks....
but, there were/are also a lot of the top guys that do love them, and say they'll never go back to the old forks.
either way, let us know what "you" think of them, once you get em on and get some ride time on em.
Dutch-K5 Fan:
It sure is preference. And you hear/read more bad things than good things.
Riding will have to wait because i'm rebuild the bathroom. (Miss is waiting for 5 years :| )
When i go riding and do the swap. Stock vs SFF or stock SFF air of what it wil become. i will post it.

KXDINO:
if you want the air forks get them and convert them to spring there a lot better than , the amount of friction in the air side is a hell of a lot when you compare this to the spring conversion kit which is zero ,just get the right spring , set and forget and sell the pump. i ridden both set ups , done conversion for other guys and are so much happier.
Dutch-K5 Fan:
If i trade my SFF forks for SFF air forks and put spring in. Wouldn't than be the only difference i get 49mm instead of 48mm and less money?? With the conversion kit, can you set preload like the 250f forks?
And what about SKF glide kit for less stiction?
