Regarding the parts in boxes , best thing to do is lay them all out on a table
Then either look in your manual or go on a kawasaki dealer site and they have detailed pics blown up of the gearbox and whole bike.
Seems very scary at first but just take your time , and by the sounds of things you have enough parts to build a whole other engine which is good.
Look for snapped teeth and broken gears , broke clips , heavy notches in the clutch basket.
Best thing to do would be make a rebuild thread , then if you have any concerns post up pics and an expert on here can give you the relevant information you need.

www.cmsnl.com or www.partzilla.com look for your bike there.. you can find some new parts, you may need and you can use the shematics, to see how to assemble the parts in right order ...

Got a manual on ebay today so I have both now... Stripped the extra set of cases and dropped them off at my buddy's who works for Lexus he is going to walnut blast them and hot tank them tomorrow... Going. To also drop off the assembled bottom end at my fathers friends house who builds tons of 2stroke kart motors... He will swap all the parts for me and install the new crank ect... Hopefully I will have a good bottom end by this weekend I also ordered A water pump rebuild kit on ebay and some close out graphics so she looks good on the cheap!

As it started today... Only have gotten some mint takeoff tires (free) from my buddy who is sponsored :-D and the sticker kit also showed. Waiting on tons more parts lol. So I did what I could.
