KX250 cylinder barrel woes re-sleeve/re-plate
Foxx4Beaver:
yeah, I've heard many times how badly the UK sucks for parts availability and prices...
nothing wrong with sleeves, I've ran them before issue free....I just prefer plated. I don't know much about the Mitaka pistons and rods...but don't go Pro-X, and stay away from Hot-Rods connecting rods...they're absolute garbage.

Well i heard after reading up about mitaka that prox were made in the same factory , so basically the same product.
And i have heard about 30% good and 70% bad regarding mitaka
Foxx4Beaver:
that's not encouraging...can you get your hands on a Wossner?...or at the least, a Wiseco?

Well yeah i can get my hands on a full wiseco crank for £210.00 shipped
To have mine rebuilt with a crappy mitaka con rod kit is £85.00 and they will not let me provide a wiseco con rod , so may jusy buy a full wiseco unit.
Is there balancing up to standards , also want a wossner piston
Foxx4Beaver:
I don't use Wiseco anymore...only Wossner.
Have you tried contacting Wossner?
