Kx250 lighting circuit??????

<< < (2/3) > >>

splatter:
anyone ever find a good solution for the kx250?
like powerdynamo maby :)

k2000x:
Don't worry about the power jet. You don't need it

subliminaltrips:
would a kdx 250 stator fit?

Actionman:
As far as I can tell, only half of the stator poles are used in the powerjet circuit. Personally, I'm going to install a 36mm non powerjet carb and rewire the powerjet stator coils for more output for a headlight. I have a rectifier from an atv that has a bigger metal case for more heat dissipation. I'll use the output to charge a battery, and wire the battery into the light for constant output. That's contingent on whether my cursory glance at the stator coils was correct. If anyone has an old, useless stator from a powerjet kx250 and can affirm it that'd be awesome.

tobys 2 strokes:
I am running the ignition system off of a 99 kx 250 on my 330 tecate 4 Dave Roberts from ILR set it up for me  It runs a 44 lectron so no need for the power jet he sent it to Ricky stator and had it rewound for more output it makes anoff now to make the miserable tecate light real bright
