Kx250 lighting circuit??????

Your bike puts out enough power for lights that will get you out of the woods in a pinch. On the 03/04s its the white wire with a red tracer coming out of the voltage regulator on the steering head. I believe the regulator is located by the airbox on the older models. You can run the wire to a on/off switch and then to your headlight. I run 2 MR16 LED bulbs. You will have to run a ground from the bulbs to the triple clamp or frame. I use a Acerbis DHH headlight which has the twin beams.

Or, if you can find an old Eline coil you can run whatever light you want and have plenty of power to do it.
You can see the coil on my wifes 250/300.
