Rev limiter
alward25:
your stock port timing will keep it from coming a part. Running a bike off a rev limiter is really hard on it. It is not meant to be a shift light but over-rev protection.
Brute:
True, true. Hit it a couple times and hopefully it will register to 'shift earlier' to keep from hitting 'the wall'. I have done that after riding the 14,000+ RPM Ninja 250 then getting on the 9,000 RPM GL500 I used to own. I bumped it a few times even though the GL vibrated pretty good up high as an 'early warning' system. :-D
Foxx4Beaver:
why don't you just put a governor on it?? :-P
