carefull on the road above 70-80 i had a bad speed wobble on mine that almost had me off, this was with a really short moto front mud guard to, with original i can predict when its going to happen but it caught me out big time with short sm style on, bars banging against the stops with a proper tank slapper, in seriously considering a steering damper.

I've had mine at a tad over 100 mph with no wobbles.
Yes, it will steer fast but not twitchy.
That was before I put a steering stabilizer on.

I wonder if you might have something slightly out of wack?
What kind of tires are you running?

alward25:
adjust your suspension, stiffer on your compression and rebound

tyres are off rims at mo as having talon hubs re annodised can't be 100% on make but think were pirreli, yes suspension could be to problem, my road legal 580sm has kx250f front forks and are clamped onto the k5 steel frame with a 125 upper yoke and lower not 100% sure, this mod was done before i got the bike, i be leave they are better forks according to the mag feature, it has heavy oil in forks, but as for setting them up I'm clueless. i reckon steering damper has got to be way forward, anyone know of a good one to fit on a 95 steel frame?
never have problems with wobble at low speed, or coming down from wheelies,???? so my guess is fork set up ok.???

Brute:
I have no steering dampener but have felt no wobbles at all. Rock stable. 17" wheels with Conti SM tires. Just got a recall on my front one.
