I've looked around this site for quite sometime but never bothered to register. Now, sadly enough as I'm deciding to sell one of my bikes I figured I'd better sign up so I could advertise it here at some point. I'm also looking for people to ride with. I'm 41 and have been riding since I was old enough to walk, I've always had a street bike or dirt bike most all of my life. I currently have a 2001 KX500 that is set up for woods (skids, hand gaurds, pipe gaurd, gnarley woods pipe, kx250 rear fender, black moose wheels, magura clutch, complete stock rebuild with about 6 hours on the motor,Litz suspension, looks and runs as new.
My other bike is a 2006 KX500af. It's not a service honda bike, but was professionally built. It has a 524cc complete rebuild with about 3 hours on it. It also is set up for woods, skids, hand guards, etc..It's a blast to ride, I'm just not sure if it's what a 41 year old needs!
I'd like to meet people interested in riding woods in NC, I'm fast but am not a pro by any means. I don't mind riding at whatever speed someone feels comfortable with. I had lots of friends who used to ride by as the years go by they seem to fall by the wayside (work,wife, kids, injury ,etc..).
Anyway..Hello all from NC! I'd post a picture or two of my bikes, but have no clue how to do so on this site. Thanks for the info over the years and hopefuly I can contribute.
