Stator cover the same for all years?

83-87 are black, 88-04 are gray.
They should all interchange.

Just to confirm they fit. I put a 93 cover on an 87 and it works fine. If I remember correctly there is a bit more clearance using the newer cover because the older flywheels were smaller. Either way it works.
