WOW! Needless to say I am thrilled to be posting here because I finally have a KX500. I have longed for one since the early 80's when I had my first "big" dirtbike, a KDX200.
I know I have TONS to learn, been lurking / reading / SEARCHING for several weeks. Believe it or not, I was there the day this bike was uncrated and sold to its one and only owner. My buddy tried the 4-strokes and couldn't stand it, that is when I told him to find my dream bike, the 500. I was proud the day he bought it, but sad at the same time. That day, I told him when the day comes I get first dibs and he agreed. Here we are 7 years later, and she is now in her rightful home. Without further wait...here is my new baby, a pristine 2003 Kawasaki KX500.
