i am unsure of dimensions off top of head but my 86 rotor is about half the weight of my 94. it looks like it is 30 percent smaller, maybe morei remember looking into it a little, it seems they went to big flywheel in mid 89. i bought an early 89 setup for my 94, it seemed to help alot, made the bike rev easier, felt lighter in the tight stuff. i noticed the same going to lighter rotors on my crs. i am unsure on igniton mapping for the years.

I have the 87 (small rotor) setup here on the bench out of my (you guessed it) 87 500.. but dont want to go that route...

Im more interested in what they changed between the 90-91 to 92-04 setup  (yes it was the flywheel and stator plate)..   BUT what? and Why?

kaw rider:
they both weight the same. :-D

I could get some measurements for the later model but I'm feeling lazy  :|
Scratch that, it's all packaged up and ready to ship and I'm not that ambitious  :-(
