Flywheel numbers
Motorrad:
Just noticed somthing
Anyone know how to decode them?
My 1991 (team green) bike had the following
F4T1002 71 0601
This 1989 Flywheel on ebay has
F4T1007 71 0601

Identical except the last number in the F4..... series...
I swear all the numbers on the later flywheels are also F4T1007.. that I recall seeing..
Anyone else have one that matches my number??

Very interesting...
I know the stator and flywheel are differant for 90-91, yet the igniter (CDI) is the same as the later ones..
Any idea what they changed? and why?
Must have been a good reason. for them to change the stator and flywheel after 3 years... Big factorys dont just go changing that stuff for no reason.
