KX500 LIGHTING

I HAVE A 1986 KX 500 AND I'M WANTING TO PUT A LIGHTING COIL ON IT.  IHAVE TALKED TO RICKY STATOR AND HE SAYS THEY DON'T MAKE A LIGHTING COIL FOR THE 86.  TEAM GREEN MATED A TECATE 3 WHEELER STATOR, FLYWHEEL AND CDI ONTO THE KX500 TO RACE BAJA.  DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY DID IT?  I HAVE TRIED THE TECATE FLYWHEEL ON MY CRANK AND THE TAPER DOESN'T SEEM THE SAME.  THE FLYWHEEL BOTTOMS OUT ON THE ENGINE CASE.  ANY INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

i put lights on a 89kx500 i had to upgrade my flywheel and stator plate to a 90 or newer setup found the parts cheap on ebay i used my stock cdi and flywheel cover hopefully this will work for a 86 don't know if it is same as my 89kx500 last thing to buy is the lighting coil my complete setup cost me $250 including headlight and taillight

i have several tecate stator and flywheels. they are junk. i put a kx250 ignition on my tecate. the tecate magnets are glued on and break off. i bet the vibration on a kx500 will destroy them in no time. i also have 86kx500 so i hope you figure out a solution, i want lights too.
