Stator removal??

What's wrong with the PVL? Just picked up a K5 and it has a PVL on it. Let me know.

They are a #3 philips and most people try to remove them with a #2.  But they are soft.

PVL works great.  Don't listen to the naysayers. The fastest drag bikes in the world run them.  I love mine.  Use .090 btdc timing setting.

i know alot of guys that use them on there cr500 and dont have problems like some of the guys with the kx500 motor.

I think you are more apt to hear about the problems people have. It's like at work, you could do a thousand things right every day and no one ever says anything about it but if you screw up once then everyone hears about it.
