I wanted to take one and dump a K5 into it and make it street legal.  Just made my K5 street legal too.  I can't wait to get my engine back from Stewart.
Happy Father's Day !

I'm in love again. BDI I have only put it to the test a little bit,,, but it is all that. Keep in mind my aggressive riding appears to be in my rearview mirror now,,,but  I will be going to a high mountain ride this week for a test.

alward25 I plan to add street lighting. Electrosport is saying that they plan to make a higher power stator as soon as they get their hands on a KX450F. If I burndown this 4stroke I will have a dilemma ,,, I do like this motor on trails a lot ,,, especially the EFI. I'm not mechanical enough to figure out EFI for the K5 ,,, but  that would be the ultimate.

It was selectable all wheel drive. Christini is the manufacturer and they are SWEEEET! The aluminum up the side is the drive for the front wheel.

I had emailed Christini about doing a Kawasaki just before they did these two, they said that they only planned to do the Hondas & KTMs. Then I'm reading about them making the Kawis. I emailed again,,, they said they had no plans for Kawis but were testing these. I PMed Jfab about making a K5 in an a-frame Honda but decided to wait. I went to the Christini website just to see what was up and there it was for sale. I wish I knew more details of possible sale of the patent,,,but I know nothing (as Klinger would say). I have to believe this application done from the factory by the manufacture would be a huge improvment in how it is delivered,,,not that this isn't good (they wanted to use a KLX450 with e-start but the starter was in the way,,,CRF450Xs are available). I'm just guessing that with the economy slowing,,, manufactures were tightening belts,,, and so it remains limited to what is paying the bills for now. Great idea but how many will pay the extra cost for it? Having used it for a while I don't regret the cost at all. It was unbeleivable traction today,,,too hard to explain,,,never spinning never wheelieing.

thankx al, just had a peep at the web site. it a very good idea. i notice earlier in this thread somone said a k5 would benifit from 1 of these. i think the bigest down fall of any 2 stoke in comparison to a 4 stroke is traction. i think the k5 would benifit from this system more than any other bike i can think of. im just guessing here but i would say for instance. kxf450 vs kx500af both with this system would see the 500 laping faster as it would allow more of the 500 power to be used. as all us 500 riders know there is alot power you just cant use in the standard drive train
what do you guys think

I think an aluminum kx500 equiped with this set up would be bitchin to use to race up pikes peak with. You would be like an all wheel drive car. I could see this bike making no one want to ride with a guy. I can just imagine the goat trails you could just crawl up.
