A ride in the woods
« on: April 11, 2010, 04:11:21 AM »
This was shot at a friends farm in Steelville Mo. yesterday, 4-11-10. He has a about a 6 mile loop in the woods set up for practice. I have not ridden in the woods in about 15 years. It was all I could do to keep up with him.

For not riding woods in 15 years looked like you kept up very well!  Nice ride.  What bike were you on?  B.O.

Looked great out , nice ride. I was out riding all weekend but not on my K5 , she's sitting on the side line waiting on a shock rebuild. I was on my quad all weekend with a bunch of buddies. Same deal tho , didn't really get out of second gear. I love this time of year , not to hot or cold but just right !

Nice vid. Looked like a great day to be out. Those d**n blue things need to get out of the way when Kaw's are coming :P
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.

Excellent camera angle,,,does not make viewer sea sick. Have you ever tried the camera on lead rider pointing back to capture a front view of the rider?

That looks like a lot of fun. More than I had I was a couple hundred mile to the south at Sparta racing the Missiour Harescramble Series. It was so hilly with uphills, downhills, and our favorites offchambers. It took me 1 hour and 35 miniutes to ride ( more like a crawl) 9.5 miles.

It was a great place to ride.  The camera is a GoPro Hero...std. It is about 2 years old. I did a write up on it and so did Cam. It sucks the life out of batteries but works real good.
