Thought I would join this site, I was recommended by my friend (Snoopjonnyjon).
I have been a member of these types of forums for all types of my motorcycles and cars for awhile now and always enjoy the resources they offer, especially with these types of bikes!
I just picked up a 'decent but not mint' 1994 KX500 and had plans of ice racing it this winter.
It had not been used for quite some time so this weekend we took it out and of course it fluffed out pretty quick. Reading more of this site I have concluded it was probably my gas mix, the oil I was using, the fact I was not hot on the throttle, and my jetting was off!
So, I have concluded I am going to do a complete frame up rebuild/restore to the bike, complete with a fresh engine, and tons of pictures along the way. Nothing super fancy but certainly will have many pictures to show you all if you want.
I also own a 2004 Ducati 999 Monoposto, which was preceded by a Kawasaki 2005 ZX10R. I have to say, I miss the power of the Kawi, perhaps that is why I'm rockin a big thumper again =)
