Hello All,
Im new to the group but not new to bikes :). Im 31 I raced amature motocross in the early 90s till injured. (more just for fun than anything) My ride was a 1986 cr125 which i retired in the mid 90s when i quit riding.  Two years ago I got back into riding trails and my sister and girl friend both wanted to learn so here i am back neck deep in bikes and projects again.  my current stable is as follows: 1990 Kx125 was fully restored with a few mods rad valve pro circuit exhaust barnett clutch.  next Ihave a 1986 kx500 which im just now have the chasis and engine done due to loss of work its completion has been slowed. the bike has been very thoroughly gone through mechanically however i didnt bother with fresh paint or the like as its a rider not a show piece.  I just traded my 1992 kx 500 for a 99 yz125 for my gf.  I have a 94 yz250 that was also a restoration but wasnt running due to sitting.  1995 KTM 300 EXC getting engine overhaul this winter for next seasons riding trips to western MD and west VA. I have been searching through the past post on here and there is a wealth of knowledge.  Although i have had plenty of time to figure out a lot of things about the smaller bikes the kx500 is a different beast and im very greatful for the info ive found on here.  Nice to meet you all  Aaron

Aaron,
Welcome to the forum. I am just South of the Potomac & back in the day use to run Budds Creek & White Oak (never made it to Antietam, heard it was fun). Like you I have learned alot about the K5 here (still learning) as they are a great group of guys here. Keep us posted on your progress it helps motivate us to see the stages.
