Rode my 88 for the first time this weekend.we just went through the whole motor. This thing is scary fast now. Ported the cylinder, wiseco piston, boost ported the piston, v-force reeds, bored the carb, k+n filter, p/c platinum pipe. Had the reed spacer in for a minute, but it made the carb hit the frame. Broke it in on the dyno, and dialed in the jetting. Couldn't get it to stay hooked up on the dyno. The tire I used was too hard. The best pull we got was 62 horse at the tire, and that was still breaking traction. I'd like to see what it could do with a proper tire, but it isn't that important to me. This thing is just plain nuts to ride. Hits hard right from the bottom, and doesn't let up. It was pretty cold and rainy on our trip, so I didn't get to ride a whole lot. Looking forward to slinging some mud at home with my son.
