This isn?t exactly a riding story but?
Pics to follow..


Meeting The Freak at Mill

Heading to Europe for a Sidecarcross vacation with my buddies, the Harte brothers. While there I plan to meet up with the KX500Freak at the Dutch National Sidecarcross race at Mill in Holland, July 5 . Looking forward to meeting a fellow KX500 and sidecar motocross fan. Also looking forward to some good beers :-D. I?ll have to behave because pics will probably be posted here before I return. Bringing a couple of KX5 Ceet covers for his stable of 5s. Sidecarcross where the last of the big bore 2 strokes live. Home of the 700cc Zabel. On our vacation we are going to 5 sidecar motocross races on 5 consecutive weekends. Starting with the Freak at Mill. Then hitting 3 World Sidecarcross GPs in Belgium, Germany and Denmark. Followed by a German national sidecar race and back home. We have met many friends at the races in Euro and look forward to adding the Freak to our list. To be continued??

Yes ,this will probably the first international kxriders meeting.
I,m very honoured to meet you guys at Mill.
especially mike since he brings some neat stuff that isnt available overhere  :mrgreen:

I,ll bring the finest dutch and belgian premiums and beers ,
and they will arrive at the GP @ perfect serving temp hahaha

looking forward to the day ,i even maid bring my streetk5 if its possible,
anyway it will be a great opportunity for me to speak english all day long
and meet the first americans in my life  8-)


mike ,can,t wait to hook with you guys
and if daniel willemsen will ride hard we,ll have an awsome gp to come

yea same for me ,i wanna go to the states ,ride the dunes like you guys
im scared of flying tho ,so it should be a boattrip of 3 months  :lol:

yea!!! today is the day ill go meet mike aka kxsidecar  :mrgreen:
hes allready at the race and i will join them ,
i have a big coolbox full of beers ,cold :P
this should keep him quite hahaha

im back from mill and mike and the broz
my buddy and i  had a fantastic day mike !! thnx for your hospitality  :-)

im very very happy with the seatcovers you bought for me in the states.
next time you come ,we arrange it so that we can be there the night before ,
and then we,ll set light to a bbq and drink lots of beer  :-D

say hi to the brothers heart from me ,they are great guys
and let me know if i need to bring something to BREDA ,ill do for you !

We are back from our European odyssey. What a trip. It was great meeting Menno aka KXfreak at Mill. Enjoyed many fine beers. We met with him at the first race of our whirlwind vacation. We consider him a good friend. The trip only got better from there. Tractor races to the pub, breaking two ribs riding KTMs in Holland, strippers in the beer tent :-D, World sidecar champion Daniel Willemsen giving me the front shield from his sidecar, drinking beer with the Bergermiester in Germany, more strippers in the beer tent :-D, MANY,MANY fine beers, seeing many old friends and meeting many new friends. Too many good times to recount here.

Menno let me know if you need any more parts, I can ship them no problem.The Harte brothers and I are already planning our trip for 2011. Hope to meet up again.

No I am not related to the sidecar racers in the pic. Though they do bear a resemblance. Sidecar people are a unique bunch.

glad youre doing fine after the ktm clash ..
that is awsome ,the front shield of his winning machine  :evil:
what a day ,it was great fun ,we left way to early
next year we take a grill and food alongside the pile of beer
then we hookup saterday and leave sunday
do the harte bro,s happen to have pics of us ?
i was shocked to come home ,only,

to discover there,s no single group-pic taken by us :|

would love to see them anyway
