New old rider.
« on: May 11, 2009, 09:17:58 AM »
Not new to dirt riding just to this site.
I started out snow moble racing , then Ice racing. Move out West and started Hill climbing and Trail riding. When I moved out to CA I sold the dirt bikes and got into track street bikes. It's been a little over 30+ years not being on the dirt bikes.
Well I picked up a 90 K5 for 500.00 that was in very good shape and set up for the trails. After going out a few times I'm supprised at how much you remember after so long.

At any rate I'm 51 years young and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.!!

Kurt,
Welcome to the forum & glad to here the experience that you bring also. After always having people say aren't you a bit old to still be doing that, it made me think "Its never too late to have a happy childhood" . Let everyone else live old. :-D

When I was young they did not have the toys like they do today.
At any rate your as young as you think you are.
Now if I can just get my brain to stop writing checks that my body may not be able to cash......
