Gnarley pipe
kwakman:
go for a pc platinum1.good top end shunt.
Johnniespeed:
I have a Gnarly under my IMS big tank and it fits perfectly. The Gnarly moves the power to a lower RPM point, and I dont think it revs quite as high, but this makes the bike nicer to drive on tight trails and deep mud.
My kicker does however bump the pipe a little unless it is completly folded in.
If pipes were cheaper, I would love to have a selection to play with.
Neilios:
Gnarley Pipe with a KX250 tank. I like it more bottom to mid range power.
KTMEXC125:
hey neilios,
what year is your k5? and what year of a kx250 tank is that? did you do a tank conversion?
zokalr13:
I have the stocker and the GNARLY- i am in the process of de-bugging my recently purchased 2000 KX500- ive replaced the air-filter with a new UNI unit, checked the jet sizes :168 + 58 and cleaned the carb out and will re do the float level- after researching I noticed that i should have re-bent the float tang -ill do it tommorow..anyway,back to the pipe thing..i havent ran the bike optimumly until the float is done but as far as the pipe goes [GNARLY] I dont dig it too much -i probably will put the stocker on until i can get the other pipe on [pro-circuit]or??- I want full rev out and i ride more flat out style than plunking slowly so i need the MX setup than woods... BTW, I gave up on a street kit for my KX5, I got me an ol DR650 that is great for around town, work ,etc so when i get this ol SUZY up to snuff [jet kit, bars etc..]then the KX500 will be restored to her former glory....
