Clicking sound

I did a search on the topic and cam up with nothing


ok i got a kx 250 2005 that i bought brand new.
I did its first top end last year , and put in a wiseco piston and rings.
I also added a JD jetting at the same time cause i had a plug fouling issues since purchase.

Since i got the JD kit on, its so smooth and better yet no more plugs fouled.
The problem i have is that when i throttle hard on the gas i get this clicking sound and i can't figure out where its coming from.Especially when the bike is under a load like in a deep sandwash and giving alot of throttle.

At idle its perfect , in the low portion and mid of the throttle it also really nice.

So i was wondering if it could be my main jet causing this clickering? 
That or its my chain maybe, since the chain and sprockets are due for a swap
but if it was that, wouldnt it make clickering noise at all throttle openings?

Current Setup Stock except for

11 OzFlywheel

JD kit
Using Red needle 3rd clip with 45 pilot with air screw 1 1/2 out and 162 main at sea level for 20 C .

Yup, know the sound your talking about, almost like a detonation when on the gas hard. What it is, is the air gap on the flywheel/stator, can't remember what the clearance was but your kawi dealer should know or be able to find out. I had the same problem on my  05, the 06 didn't do it for whatever reason but I do know that it doesn't matter what year 05, 06, or 07 they all have experienced the problem. There is a thread on thumpertalk in the Kawasaki 2 stoke section, they may have the air gap clearance on it. This isn't a new problem and you don't hear much until somebody says hey ai've got this noise, then its yeah I 've got it to. I don't think it hurts performance any it's mor annoying than anything, although, maybe it does hurt performance.

Thanks ill check it out.

Cause up to now was starting to get scared to blow up my new top end.
Just to be on the safe side  i'll switch my main for a richer one aswell and check my airgap mesurements.
