Yo,

My name is Dennis my friends call me BigD. I owned a KX500 back in the day and just purchased a 98 a few days back. I rebuilt the top end and started it 3 kicks after I was finished. Great XMas present!! :)

I was looking for info about my bike and stumbled across this forum and you guys all know your shizz.

Looking forward to participating.

Welcome. Yep, A bunch of smart guys on here with lots of tuner experience. You got lucky. They were suspending new memberships for awhile there, because of hackers. The site is really starting to ramp up in activity, so stay tuned. Another k5 on board, cool. Lots of 500 owners on here to get tips, parts and ideas. Don't be bashful, either. You never know what little tip you might have for us that will add to the excellent pool of info on kxriders.

I like the wide open desert. We are heading to California City this weekend. I know it's going to be crowded but I can't wait to get this bike out!! :)
