you are right on that. my 450 was bad at that. it depends on what you have for jetting and the riding style. plus it eats aluminum too. you what to run the stuff that doesn't have msbte in it.

I have a 168 in it now. Same for a 250? Any other set-up issues? I race against plenty of VP-fueled bikes, but it seems like they are all jetted funny. REAL FAT on idle jet(in the hole in neutral). They sound loaded up. Then they sound lean on top end. They even pop some when at top rpm's. Is that normal VP traits? I play ride the same bikes, so is there any issues other than jetting to think about when switching back and forth between fuels? What about a 50/50 mix of Pump gas and VP? A waste of effort and cash?

i love Q16 awesome fuel. my bike was jetted for dumont 1,000 footish. put in the q16 @ 5,000 foot and the jetting was spot on. the bike screamed and was very crisp. and that smell, man i could go brain dead smelling that stuff.
BDI:
I ran Q 16 for the first time this weekend at dumont. I'm hooked like a crack head hooked on crack rock, that stuff is great.
